ABOUT US

Mission Statement
As we evolve with understanding of distinctions between Civil and Human Rights, an ongoing series of events can be designed to inform, connect, and support the peoples of the Carolinas as we organize to preserve, protect, and expand both Civil and Human Rights.
CHRONIC aims to take actions that assure an equitable and sustainable system which will meet the needs and affirm the basic humanity of all peoples. We recognize that everywhere many human needs are unmet and basic Human Rights ignored.
In addressing the Intersectionality of Human Rights, the many dimensions of one’s identity are uncovered and the collective impacts of oppression and injustice on the experiences of individuals and communities are better understood. It is essential to reach across traditional boundaries connecting horizontally with one another to grow and choose the actions we must take to assure that Human Rights are discussed, understood, implemented, and protected.
